On 3 April 2008 the University of Pisa held a “Tempus Day”. The meeting was held in the Historical Aula Magna in the “Sapienza” building of the University. Prof. Enrico Giaccherini, Pro-Rector for International Relations opened the meeting; Dr. Vincenzo Tedesco, responsible for the Research and International Relations sector of the Central Administration greeted the speakers and the public. Dr. Manuela Costone of the Italian National Tempus Contact Point, at the CRUI Foundation, Rome (the Foundation of the Italian Rectors’ Conference) gave a detailed presentation of Tempus IV and an overview of the opportunities it offers for cooperation in Higher Education. Prof. Ann Katherine Isaacs presented concrete experiences of Tempus III projects, including BolognaKG, BolognaKG2, Tuning Russia and Tuning Georgia, and discussing future proposals. There were lively questions and answers and a press comuniqué.
